They have left their worries behind, just a flight away. Duties and work parked for a long, long stay. And now they have decided to spend time only on themselves. Today, they will get to know the island’s hinterland.
To walk without haste many trails that wind within pine forests. Mountain-day today. Tomorrow: the beach. A stroll just for two. A stroll through the middle of the Biosphere Reserve.
They will have a grand time. All year long running to and for with tight schedules will pay off handsomely this August.
They know for sure it makes no sense to stop being happy while on holidays. Yet another year when the entire family is willing to take off in search of the children’s planet. A planet-full of holidays awaits them in Gran Canaria.

We could say these two could not care less whether they spent their holidays on the North Pole. But we are certain their honeymoon and their time to be quite happy awaits them in Gran Canaria.
The recipe for every summer. As soon as the summer is here, a long wave of laughter begins flowing from north to south. This is the beginning of the party season on the island. Something to be taken quite seriously in the towns and neighbourhoods of Gran Canaria. No room for bores the second the fireworks hit the sky and the band starts playing.
Find a hidden shelter, now at a better price
There is a side to Gran Canaria you may not know yet. The less travelled side, where you may find your special isle of silence, in the middle of nature. A thousand places to rest and leave haste behind. A Biosphere Reserve island.
Rural hotels in ancient houses. Rural homes by secluded cliffs and actual paths. The perfect lodging for trekkers. For anyone determined to get away for a few days.

Exotic species such as marabous, emus, wallabies, hornbills… well, you will be needing the assistance of the little ones.
One thing is sure. They will love to spend a long time in the zoo and in the botanical gardens south of Gran Canaria. Do not miss the chance to try out all that Palmitos Park has to offer. Pelicans, parrots, toucans, and even Komodo dragons smile again quite close to Maspalomas.
