Los Azulejos Natural Monument Mogán - La Aldea de San Nicolás

In the deep ravines sculptured by nature over millions of years, the inland area (between the towns of Mogán and La Aldea de San Nicolás) is home to a spectacular volcanic crater, with etchings dotted among its stones. This is the case of Los Azulejos, one of the most amazing natural spots 😳 in Gran Canaria. A unique colourful mosaic dug into the mountain with red, ochre, green and blue tones from the erosion of various minerals, and where you can take one of the most beautiful and amazing panoramic shots on the island 📷.

The Balcony Viewpoint or Green Platform Mogán - La Aldea de San Nicolás

It’s worth taking the GC-200 road towards the north of Gran Canaria to catch one of the island’s most spectacular views 📷. This impressive viewpoint, in the west of Gran Canaria, stands on a vertical cliff, offering an extraordinary panoramic view of the sea and the ravines that tower over us in a unique visual display 😍😍😍. Popularly known as the “dragon’s tail”, its wall of cliffs with zigzagging peaks really do look like a petrified mythological creature rising out of the infinite ocean 🐉.
