On display here are the works of Néstor (1887-1938), one of Spain?s leading symbolist painters and one of the most unusual painters of the European movement. As well as the painter?s most important canvases, portraits, landscapes, theatre plans, architecture, craftwork, drawings and sketches by the artist are also on show.
The Néstor Museum forms part of the `Pueblo Canario´ complex or Canarian Village, together with a restaurant and commercial premises, whose architecture is known as `neo-canary´. The architectural complex was built by Néstor?s brother Miguel Fernández de la Torre.
