Found at the ?Casa de la Virgen? (Home of the Virgin), this estate lies at an altitude of 600 m. above sea level and covers an area of 17,000 m2. Nearby, the Barranco de la Virgen (Virgin Ravine) opens from the centre of the Island of Gran Canaria easing down towards the north coast, its environmental and historical value is incalculable. It is part of the Valleseco municipality and the Doramas Rural Park. Visiting, you will discover oak and chestnut trees and a variety of pines indigenous to the Canaries, that stand out for their height and age. Worth noting is the abundance of fruit bearing trees such as the plum, the medlar, the orange and the lemon tree along with a variety of fig trees. Special mention should go to the flora that can be seen upon visiting, notable for the extensive variety and quality of this flora, which enhances any hillside trek.
