Description: Plant species considered in danger of extinction in the National Catalogue of Species under Threat and in need of a recovery plan. Endemic to Tenerife and Gran Canaria, it can be found in very few locations and always in association with the laurel forest. It can be found in the north of Tenerife, restricted to a few areas in the Anaga forest, and in the interior of Gran Canaria, in the area between Arucas and Moya, in the Doramas forest.
