The Montañón Negro mountain and the Pinos de Gáldar caldera form two well preserved geomorphological structures that are truly unique. They are of scientific interest and are very representative of island volcanoes. From a landscape point of view, Montañón Negro is a natural formation of great beauty that dominates and gives character to the area as a point of reference.
