This is a redoubt with unusual scenic value as it incorporates a remarkably rural stretch of the Cernícalos ravine, where traditional crop areas alternate with houses that are concentrated in the village of Lomo Magullo. It is also of interest geologically speaking as it incorporates part of the Quaternary eruption of the Barros volcano.
