Roque Nublo is one of the most important natural landmarks in Gran Canaria. A giant located at an altitude of 1,800 metres above sea level, in the centre of the island, within a Protected Natural Area declared a Biosphere Reserve.
An emblem of Gran Canaria, this impressive rock monolith rises 80 metres from its base, offering a unique panoramic view, so wide that few other mountains on the island can match. On clear days you can make out the impressive silhouette of the neighbouring volcano, the famous Mount Teide.
