Valleseco is situated inland, 28 kilometres from the capital, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. To get there you can go by private car which, from Las Palmas, will take about an hour. The most usual route, if you are starting out from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, is to take the North road and go through Teror, which is the next municipality to Valleseco (GC-21). You can also take the Autovía del Norte (dual carriageway along the north coast) from Las Palmas to Arucas and then go via Firgas (GC-30) to Valleseco.

Another possibility is to use public transport. You go to the Estación de Guaguas (bus station) in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and take a number 216 bus which goes direct to Teror (departures are about every half an hour) and then from Teror, you get a number 220 , destine Artenara and stop in Valleseco.
